Don't Forget to Print This Page
This is not meant to be another article that you read once and forget.
Print this Dua Guide.
Keep it beside your prayer mat, in your Islamic study folder, or somewhere your family can easily access it.
You can even create a family Dua folder and add new authentic duas as you learn them.
A simple idea:
Print → Read → Understand → Memorize → Practise → Teach your family → Repeat
If you have children, give them a printed copy and let them choose one dua each week to learn.
If you have elderly parents, consider printing a large-font version that is easy for them to read.
And if someone in your family is beginning to learn Arabic, this collection can become a practical starting point for learning short, meaningful duas.
Save this page, print it, and come back whenever you need a dua for a particular occasion.
Final Reminder
Dua is not simply a collection of Arabic words.
It is an act of worship.
It is an expression of our dependence upon Allah.
When you ask Allah for provision, you acknowledge that He is the Provider.
When you ask for forgiveness, you acknowledge your need for His mercy.
When you ask for guidance, you acknowledge your need for His direction.
When you ask for your children, family and loved ones, you place their affairs before Allah.
So don't wait until life becomes difficult before turning to Allah.
Make dua in times of ease, and you will have built the habit of turning to Him in times of difficulty.
Learn a few authentic duas.
Understand their meanings.
Practise them at the appropriate occasions.
Teach them to your children.
And most importantly, let your duas bring you closer to Allah.
May Allah accept our duas, forgive our sins, guide our hearts, protect our families, grant us halal and blessed provision, give our children righteousness, grant healing to those who are ill, relieve those facing hardship, and give us goodness in this world and the Hereafter.
Ameen.
Authenticity Note
This guide focuses on Qur’anic supplications and duas transmitted through authentic or well-established sources. Islamic information should always be checked against reliable primary sources and qualified scholarship, particularly when a specific wording, repetition, time or religious ruling is being attributed to the Prophet ﷺ.
Do not assume that every popular dua circulating on social media is authentic.
And do not attach unsupported promises such as “read this exact dua 100 times and Allah will definitely give you X.”
Ask Allah sincerely, use authentic supplications where established, take appropriate lawful means, and place your trust in Allah.
