THE IMPORTANCE OF TIME IN ISLAM..!!!!!

Image
THE IMPORTANCE OF TIME IN ISLAM There are among those who believe in the popular saying as "Time is Gold." Time in Islam is more than Gold or any precious material thing in this world. Of all religions, only Islam guides mankind not only to the importance of time but also how to value it. Allah the Almighty and His Messenger, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), very clearly tell us the value of time, why we must not waste it and how we can make use of our time wisely to increase our Eeman (Faith) and thus attain success, especially eternal success in the life hereafter. The following are some of the most important duties demanded of Muslims: Ensuring benefiting from time Utilizing leisure time Racing for good deeds Learning from the passage of time Seeking the superior times Planning and organizing time Fulfillment of time commitments Necessary awareness of time wasters Both the Qur'an and the Sunnah enjoin Muslims to be conscious of time. We are reminded that li...

Very useful tip that would help doing good deeds easy and doing bad deed difficult........!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Assalamu Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh, We all know friends, that we do things that we really don't want to do and don't do things that we know are good and still not able be to do them. First, we should remember. LA HAWLA WALA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH. The meaning of this expression is 'There is no power nor strength save in Allah'. Secondly, the reason why we do stuff is simply because we like it or we think we like it. Say for example, you got yourself into the habit of over-eating, and you want to get rid of it, now, how can you not do what you are doing. The reason why you might be doing this, there is that voice inside of yourself that tells you... I like to eat, I like to eat ice-creams, chocolates and so on... Another example, say you have an exam to give next week and you have not yet opened your text book to prepare for the exam, in this case, the voice inside might be saying to you.. I don't like studying, I better watch T.V, or play cr...

A Selection Of Durood Shareef

My favourite durood is DUROOD-E-SADAQAH    Durood Shareef are equivalent and give full benefits, but some selected and very promptly accepted and favoured Durood Shareefs are the following:- 1. DUROOD-E-IBRAHIMI ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA MUHAMMADIW WA ALA AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA SALLAITA ALA IBRAHIMA WA ALA AALI IBRAHIMA INNAKA HAMIDUM MAJID. ALLAHUMMA BAARIK ALA MUHAMMADIW WA ALA AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA BAARAKTA ALA IBRAHIMA WA ALA AALI IBRAHIMA INNAKA HAMIDUM MAJID. "O Allah, let Your Blessings come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious". The famous companion of the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), Hadrat Ka'ab bin Ujrah (radi Allahu anhu), narrates that once it was enquired from Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) as t...

10 Steps to Gaining Taqwa

10 Steps to Gaining Taqwa Take provision; but the best provision is taqwa of Allah. So have taqwa of Me, people of intelligence! (Surat al-Baqara: 197) What is Taqwa? Taqwa means consciousness, awe or fear of Allah, which inspires a person to be on guard against wrong action and eager for actions which please Allah and stay away from those actions which displease and anger him. the skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it (when they recite it or hear it). Then their skin and their heart soften to the remembrance of Allah." [39:23] Why should we fear Allah? It is because we are fully reliant on Allah and we have no control over our final fate and the day and time when we will return to Allah. We are so weak, vulnerable and low beings whereas Allah is the greatest and most high, honoured and has power over EVERYTHING! Allah can take us at ANY second and what would become of us if we were taken whilst committing a sin? We would risk the torture of the grave and a day so t...

Muhammad (peace be upon him) - Excellent Example for Mankind

Assalamu Aleikum, Allah says in the Holy Quran: You have indeed in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Day, and who remembers Allah much. (33:21). In this verse Allah instructs Muslims to follow Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him ) who was an embodiment of the great values and manners of the Holy Quran. He gave the best example for mankind in the human history. Many Muslim and non-Muslim writers bear witness that Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him ) is the greatest man in the human history. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him ) was a good son who never forgot his parents. He lost his father before his birth. Shortly after his birth he was brought up by a foster mother in accordance with an Arabic tradition at that time. He rejoined his mother at the age of five. She passed away after one year. After so many years, he passed by her grave in his way to Makkah and stayed there for a while. Remembering the death of his mother in her w...

Five tips on how to control the tongue

Assalamualaikum Here are some tips on how we can control our tongues and increase in patience both in our communication with others and within ourselves: 1. Think The phrases “think before you speak” and “if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all” seem clichéd, but hold a lot of weight in the life of Muslims. In order to combat this, think about what you are about to say before you open your mouth. It sounds simple, but we have become so accustomed to speaking without thinking that words just seem to fly out of our mouths before we know it. Tip: Try to take a couple moments before you speak to evaluate whether what you are about to say is beneficial or necessary. Spend more time doing dhikr, or thinking, or contemplating than wasting time on unnecessary speech, which is not beneficial and potentially harmful. 2. Apologize Hard as it may be, if we do happen to say something that is hurtful to someone, just simply apologize. Whether it was what you sai...
